China Timeline - lesson activity

Attached is an ideal keyword and timeline activity that I am using to introduce China to my year 6's. The first slide allows children to link and understand keywords to their meaning for the forthcoming term. The following slides can be printed and laminated and used by pupils to place in order within the classroom.

UK, The Language Trends Survey for Secondary Schools 2011

CfBT Education Trust in association with the All-Party Parliamentary Group, Indendent Schools Modern Languages Association (ISMLA) and Association for Language Learning (ALL) have released the long awaited research on Language Trends in Secondary Schools.

The annual publication of findings from the Language Trends survey shows that 40% of maintained schools reported changes to their language provision since the introduction of the English Baccalaureate (EBacc).
